Growing in the Christian life

It’s easy to rejoice when things go well. But Paul wrote “Rejoice in the Lord always” when he
was in prison. In his brief le􀆩er he gives us many reasons as to why we should do just that!
Do come and join us, for one evening or for the whole series, as we explore his encouraging
le􀆩er together. We meet at Black Horse Co􀆩age, Manor Road from 8pm to 9.30pm for Bible study and discussion followed by a short time of reflection and prayer.

Redeeming Capitalism

Ken Barnes returned to Towersey recently to talk about his latest book: Redeeming Capitalism. He spoke with his usual passion and clarity about the morality of the economic decisions we take as individuals and as a society. His message was provocative and challenging - yet ultimately optimistic. Capitalism can be redeemed, he argued, but it will require the Christian values of faith, hope and love.
