In the stunning grounds of Towersey Manor, Manor Road, Towersey, Near Thame

Towersey Manor is once again the stunning setting for the Towersey Church Fete.  This quintessentially English fete grows in popularity every year with attractions for every age, from strolling round the beautiful gardens to running down the track in our popular children races.

You could indulge in a delicious cream tea served in the tranquillity of the medieval barn, or take a seat on the front lawn whilst enjoying food from our BBQ and a refreshing pint of Pimms or a cold beer.  Perhaps treat yourself to an ice cream whilst enjoying the music from The Notations.

In the courtyard we have a packed afternoon of entertainment with performances by Towersey Village Voices (the local community choir) and dancing by our very own Towersey Morris and Three Horseshoes Morris, you could also spring into step and join our Morris Dancing Workshop.

There is lots for the children, big or small - they could try their hand at the coconut shy or skittles or even see if they can hook a duck or how far they can throw an egg without it breaking.  And let’s not forget our own personal favourite, the Loo-pla!!  Back by popular demand is Professor Boodle with his traditional Punch and Judy show, as is the bouncy castle.

We pride ourselves in being a traditional fete, where in addition to all the above attractions we still have the ever popular homemade cake stall, bric-a-brac and book stall, the manor boutique selling nearly new clothes and a plant stall. New this year is a Home Produce Stall, where you can purchase some of Towersey's finest. The Grand Raffle has a cash prize of £150 plus many other attractive prizes (see below), and the Tombola gives everyone a chance to win lots of attractive prizes.
