Special activities throughout the year

Coming soon - talk and book signing

Continuing our series of BIG questions we have a talk and book-signing by Prof. Kenneth J Barnes. Ken will address the questions “Is capitalism a force for evil or good?” “Does God care about wealth and money?” and more.

Tuesday 22nd  May at 7.45pm
in St Catherine’s Church, Towersey
with refreshments provided.

Ken, a frequent visitor to Towersey, will be signing his new book Redeeming Capitalism, in which he explores the critical intersection of faith and economics. Drawing on his experience as an international businessperson and his research into the history and ethics of political economy, Dr. Barnes encourages readers to imagine an economic system with all of the wealth creating possibilities of the capitalism we have and the common-good benefits of the capitalism we desire.
